Ryan has been wanting to put hair gel in Bentley's hair....Well probably since he was born! For my brother, Jonathan's graduation I finally let him! I was able to capture this male bonding moment, it's just too sweet.

Baby proofing
I remember the day I brought Bentley home from the hospital; I was looking at all my decorations and little things I had around the house thinking, "one day I will have to move all of this stuff" Well it looks like that day has come! He is not crawling yet but he sure gets around. The other day I caught him rolling over to my decorative vases, it seems he thought it would be so fun to kick them over. Looks like next weekend we will be baby proofing our home!

The Field
We are so lucky to live right across from this huge green field. We love to bring Savannah here to throw her ball and give her some much needed exercise! Plus it gives me an opportunity to get so cute pictures of this adorable little boy!
Sydney and Bentley love to watch Savannah run for the ball. |

The Laptop
So the other day Bentley and I were playing at Grandpa and Grandmas house. while sitting on Grandpa's lap Bentley kept wanting to play with the laptop. He went to town pushing on all the keys! the Next day I was working on the computer and all he wanted to do was slam his little hands all over the keyboard. Although it was very cute I was a little afraid he was going to delete something, e-mail someone, or turn everything to Spanish! So I had an idea... I had an old netbook that I never use so I decided to set it up and let him play "office assistant". I mean, I LOVED playing that game, I was 12 but hey, that's only because I didn't have a computer in my house until then;). Anyway that thing kept him more entertained then any of his toys and here's the pictures to prove it!

My First Mother's Day
Thanks to my wonderful husband and Beautiful son I had a great first Mother's day! Ryan and I also got to celebrate with our mothers as well! We started celebrating Saturday evening with a delicious dinner at my in-laws. We were lucky enough to have the whole family together (which is a rare occasion) plus Ryan's grandparents. unfortunately I didn't get any pictures:( We spent the evening enjoying each others company while drinking wine and sangria by the fire pit! Sunday morning Ryan got up with Bentley and allowed me to sleep in. He then surprised me with breakfast in bed! On the menu: eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, AMAZING red velvet crapes and of course mimosas! We continued the day by going to old town and walking around. We ended up eating on the patio at Cooper Smiths for lunch and for dessert, Ben and Jerry's. Ryan had to go to work so Bentley and I headed over to my parents house. We supervised while the boys and my dad worked on the new fire pit. The weather could not have been any nicer. We ended the day with Chinese food and we drove home! I am one lucky mama and not a day goes by that I forget it!

The Green Chair
My parents bought Bentley a little green patio chair that matched theirs, it's too cute! The weather here has been amazing lately and Bentley has been able to enjoy his little chair, as you can see!

Playing with water
The weather is finally starting to get nice! The other day Bentley and I decided it would be fun to get some bowls, measuring spoons and Easter eggs (they have holes in the bottom so the "rain") and splash in some water outside! I just love these pictures of him, he is just so precious.

A day at the park
I took Bentley to the park for the first time! It was so much fun to watch him look at everyone and take it all in. I put him in the swing, at first he was unsure about it but soon he was smiling and laughing!
