22 and 23 weeeks!

I'm just now posting week 22 and I turn 24 weeks in two days!... Where does the time go?!? I have been feeling great and I can't say it enough... "I LOVE being pregnant!" He is now moving around all the time which I just love and my AMAZING husband has been working hard to put my vision of the nursery into reality! We are just waiting for a few finishing details. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite room in the house! I go in there a lot and try to imagine what life will be like once he is here!

The start of our summer!

Well it has been  a very busy last few days! School ended, My little brother graduated (CRAZY!), my sister and brother-in-law came in from Hawaii, and we have been trying to finish up the nursery! I finally have some down time to get some stuff done before I go back to work to help with summer school. Here are some pictures form the last few days. It was so nice having my family all together even if it was only for a few days! Oh and don't worry I plan on posting pictures of the nursery, I'm just waiting for a few more things to come in!

20 weeks and its a BOY!

So last week Ryan and I found out we are having a BOY! We were able to have most of our family together as we shared the news with a video we made (I'm going to try to post it). The whole ultrasound experience was incredible. My mouth hurt from smiling so big for so long, it just amazes me that there is a little baby growing in there. We are feeling him move so much and I just LOVE it! Now that we know he is a he let the decorating began! We got the bookcase, end table, and dresser the other night and ordered the crib yesterday! Ryan even surprised me by getting stated on the paint! I Just can't wait until it is all done and our little baby boy is enjoying it with us!

Weeks 18 &19

Another 2 weeks have past in the blink of an eye! Heck the last 19 weeks have past in the blink of an eye! I can hardly believe that in just a few days we will be able to call our little Chicklit a HE or a SHE! A lot of cool things are happening, not only I'm I getting bigger(which I LOVE!) but the baby is moving around so much more. Ryan got to feel kicks for the first time last week. It was so amazing watching his face as he felt our little one moving around! Just this morning after a coconut milk and whey protein smoothie little chicklit started kicking up a storm, 10 kicks in 2 minutes! I guess he/she liked breakfast! I had a doctors appointment last week and everything looks great! We did had a little scare. Since both of my parents have had blood clots the doctor was worried that I might have a blood clotting disorder. Which would resolve in me having to take shots in my stomach everyday for the rest of my pregnancy. Long story short and a 2,000 dollar blood test later... everything came back negative! I've also gained 5lbs during the pregnancy which I'm pretty sure has gone straight to my face but that's ok its worth it, so I've been told!;)
